PayUpBro

Privacy Policy

Version 2026-07-08

What we collect, why, and what you can make us do about it. The app shows the version for the country you picked. This page shows both.

Canada

PayUpBro handles your information in line with PIPEDA.

United States

This policy explains the rights you have over your information, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable US state privacy laws.

What we collect

How we use it

We use Have I Been Pwned (haveibeenpwned.com) to check whether your email appears in known data breaches. We use your saved settlements and preferences to show relevant settlements and to send the deadline reminders you opt into.

Product update emails

We only send product-update email to people who have asked for it. You are asked once at signup with an unticked box, and nothing is sent unless you tick it. Agreeing to the Terms does not sign you up. We record when you agreed and to which wording, so we can show you what you consented to. Every update email identifies PayUpBro as the sender and carries a one-tap unsubscribe link that works without logging in, and we act on it immediately. You can also switch these emails off at any time in Settings. Turning them off never affects account email such as password resets and confirmations, and never affects your deadline reminders.

Canada

These emails are commercial electronic messages under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL). We send them only with your express consent, identify ourselves in every message, and include an unsubscribe mechanism that stays valid for at least 60 days.

United States

These emails are commercial messages under the US CAN-SPAM Act. Each one identifies PayUpBro, states why you are receiving it, and includes a working unsubscribe link.

What we never do

We never sell or share your email address, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone. We never add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join, and we never make product-update email a condition of using the app. PayUpBro never files claims for you and never collects, holds, or transfers settlement money. Payouts are made directly to you by the settlement administrator.

Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, delete your account from Settings, then Delete account, or email us at the address below. We will not deny you service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service for exercising your rights.

Settlements currently open →

PayUpBro is not a law firm and never files a claim for you. Whether you qualify is decided by the court-appointed settlement administrator, not by us. We list what is open, when it closes, and where the official form is. Every settlement here was checked against its administrator before being published. New to this?
